Debut EP to Release on February 23, 2018!

Ginelle James is paving her own path and building faithful fans with the release of her debut EP album “Last Call”.  With Bart McKay Studios of Saskatoon and OCL Studios of Calgary on her team, James explores the raw, soulful, Ms. Independent sound, that bleeds through each of the 6 tracks on the album.

James, a farmgirl from Saskatchewan now living in under the bright lights of Calgary, is no stranger to the music scene.  Her first single, “Sorry” rose to #7 on the January 2017 Canadian Music Charts for the most active indie songs of the week and hit #5 on Calgary’s ReverbNation Sponsored Artists Chart.  “Girl Time”, James’ second single, was picked up by radio stations across Canada, and became the summer anthem for any girls  who “just wanna have fun”! Growing up on the country-twang of Reba & Trisha, mixed with the soulful sounds of Aretha and Whitney, James’ songwriting breaks all the rules with it’s authentic and emotionally filled sound.

Coming off a year of prominent performances, including an exclusive 3-day lounge show at the Ag in Motion - Western Canada's Outdoor Farm Expo, a solo performance in the hospitality suite at Edmonton's FarmTech, a showcase on the CCMA Diamonds in the Rough  stage and headlining Saskatoon’s prestigious Angels & Friends Foundation - Halo Gala, James’ 2018 schedule is filling up fast.  With the first two singles picked up by more than 15 radio stations across Western Canada, radio play with the title track off the EP, “Last Call”, is sure to gain momentum.  James’ is scheduled for a feature interview on CJWW Radio's “Made in Canada” show with Jay Richards in March, and has a radio tours lined up across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC to further promote the single.
