Where words fail, music speaks.

After months of anticipation, Ginelle James has launched her debut EP this February 2018, and is enjoying the successful release of her 3rd single and the title track off the album, ‘Last Call’. This upbeat, fun-loving tune about going out and having a good time, while always acting like a lady of course, has climbed to #102 on the Mediabase Published chart and #89 on the Rolling charts. The song has been picked up by more than 20 stations across Canada, including Saskatoon’s “92.9 The Bull”, Leduc & Stony Plain’s “The One”, and Moose Jaw’s “Country 100”. James worked with Bart McKay Studios of Saskatoon and OCL Studios of Calgary to weave her raw, authentic, Ms. Independent sound that fans have fallen in love with, into each of the six tracks.

Heavily involved in the agriculture industry, James has had the opportunity to perform at events around the prairies, most notably the Ag in Motion - Outdoor Farm Expo and Edmonton's FarmTech, and has opened for artists like Cody Prevost, Victoria Banks, and the Hunter Brothers this coming fall.  James is comfortable on any stage, and recently added a CCMA Diamonds in the Rough  performance and the prestigious Angels & Friends Foundation - Halo Gala, to her bio.

After travelling the world, excelling at her career in sales, co-founding a Women in Agriculture non-profit organization and farming full-time with her Dad, this artist has life experience, a work ethic, and get-it-done attitude, that sets her apart.  Musical influences as a child ranged from Reba & Trisha, to Aretha & Otis, continuing to evolve and cross genre lines into pop, reggae, indie rock and the like.  Her sound, songwriting and live performances abilities embody all of the above, elevating this artist to a category of her own.
